So I know its been a few weeks since my last post (3 to be exact) but some of you will be glad to note that I am still making videos and posting them... just I haven't had time to make a news post with school and video making.

Since becoming a "director" on YouTube, I have redoubled my efforts to put out new content every week, and I have decided that from now on I will offer up 2 new videos every week. Its a decent workload that I think I can handle with out to much added strain to my regular processes (School, Family, volunteering, ect).

What does this mean to you?

It means that every week you will have twice as much of me (and my weirdness) to deal with. So it should be fun.

I posted this up a couple of days ago, based around the "contravene" YouTube surrounding the existence (or lack there of) of a girl know as Lonelygirl15. In the end, I can't care either way, because I want to be entertained, so I am still going to watch her even if she isn't real.

I would like to note that this video is officially the most popular video I have done so far... Since I posted it, its been seen over 100 times (and that was 2 days ago)... So I am happy.

This weeks video is essentially a long news post... with short animated clips inbetween... so instead of making a news post...

But after watching that, I want a real news post, so I will give you this...

I am now officially a director in the eyes of Youtube, which can only mean one thing... my endless need to better my self is over and I will retire to doing videos of no consiquence. Wait! that already happened. I guess I will have redoubble my efforts to make movie clips that will entertain every one...

maybe even by posting videos twice a week...

I wanted to start off by saying I am sorry for not having this up on time. I spent most of the night trying to get the videos up with no luck... so instead I made a great lil video of me saying I am sorry. Here it is.

For how easy it was to shoot this thing, I don't think it was worth the effort to get it online. ALthought I had trouble uploading the video, it was no problem to watch George Takei make out with Jeffrey Ross at the roast of Bill Shatner. Weird.

If you noticed something different about these videos its because a few things changed when I was working on these videos. The first one is that I shot the video full screen just for the hell of it, you have to think differently when shooting full screen so it looks different. The other is that I used a new compression method to shrink the film down. I don't like it... so I won't be doing it again.

In other news, production on episodes 1a and 1b is going well. We shut down the set because I couldn't stay awake any longer, but other than that, we should be on track to release the eppisodes... sometime...

This week, in the height of lazyness, I finally edited the first portion my "guys playing cards" video. Why put it in 2 parts? because I don't want to edit the second half... and the first half is funny by its self.

Now that being said, we have some cool projects coming your way in the next lil while, so you should keep your eyes peeled here, becuase you could miss some of our bad ass shit.

sorry for the short post, but I don't think any one reads these... and its now 7 am... so sleep is the only thing on my mind right now.

The moob is an integral part of human life, so lets give it up to Alex, who described moobs in such great detail as to prompt his denouncement of boobs in general.

In other news my super secret project is coming along very well. I have started the script and will be posting a video about the process later this week.

Finally, MFUL second and third eppisodes are done the scripting process. This means that we will be shooting any time now (any time now...) so keep your eyes peeled and hold you breath... but not too long... we don't need you passing out and hitting your head on a sharp corner or something.

Since no one seems to check up on my YouTube videos that I don't post there... I give you a video from the archives (on one of my off days, no less).

For those of you who have been heaping praise on me for MFUL (its funny, because there are some people who do), I ask that you leave a post here. Altought I wrote and directed the first eppisode, there are a bunch of other people who worked on these videos who would love to hear the MFUL loving that is coming in.

Here comes the second, more technical, half of the making of movie. If you wanted to know how I made (or tried to make) the green screen and the back grounds for the first MFUL eppisode, this is your eppisode.

If you don't care about greenscreens, or how to put up your own blog, then you can look forward to next weeks video. This will either be the thing about cards, or a story of Moobs.

I am still hunting down a set of lost tapes. Alex has them... so I will hopefully have that soon.

Finally I am working on a new, new project. At this point I am making it known to every one that I am looking for actors for this new project. It will be a 2 day shoot, with a wrap party after we are done the 3rd day (only 4 actors will be used on the 3rd day). So if you are interested in hanging out for a couple of nights, drop me a line here or on my MSN or by phone.

This weeks bad ass video is the first half of the "making of MFUL" video, the best half assed "making of" video ever... EVER!

On the note the other half of the making of video will be out this Friday. I edited the thing, done. But since Youtube wont let me post videos over 10 minutes long, I had to break it up into 2 parts (split completely at random) and but I was far to lazy to post both haves up at the same time... That and the first half as most of the funny stuff any way.

In other news, I have a short video that is called "The stories of cards" (yeah... I totally just made that up. Done completely improve, it stars me and Matt Prov of ForceRENDER productions fame. I have to work on editing that, but when its done, you know that you will be the first to see it.

No video today, but I am making an update just to give you all a heads up. This tuesdays video, the making of video, may be extra long and extra boring (unless you are me).

UPDATE: I JUST ADDED A VIDEO TO YOUTUBE... BUT IT IS FRIENDS ONLY, SO ADD ME AS A FRIEND ON YOUTUBE IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE FIRST HALF OF THE MAKING OF VIDEO, AND OTHER UPCOMING CONTENT.

The editing process is going along quickly on this one, and now its a matter of pairing down the footage to things I acutally want people to see... that being things that are funny... or informative.... or both.

Its a new week, which can only mean one thing, a new video up on youtube.

I had to fight to not post this one up before today, because I didn't want to flood my self with videos (and I didn't want to have to post a half done "making of video"). The making of video is well on its way but thanks to a missing tape (which may warrent a video post all to its self if I don't find it) production has slown down a little bit (a lot... really).

Production work starts tomorow on eppisodes 1a and b. Why "1a" and "1b", instead of "2" and "3" you ask? The answer my friends is quite simple, its because we already shot a large portion of eppisdoe 2. Since 2 doesn't explaine some of the things that happened inbetween 1 and 2 and since it doesn't account for some of my editing techniques (or lack there of) used in eppisode one, We are shooting 2 eppisodes that you don't HAVE to watch to understand eppisode 2. That and we are missing an actor for the next month... so we have to work with what we have.

Now inclosing, because I would like to link to a video that I found earlier, because I like pretty things.

Just to tide myself over until I get the "making of" video done and online, I have captured a great gem of footage from one of our days of shooting on the green screen. Its not out yet, but look for it next Tuesday... Unless I think I will have the "making of" video up then. If I do, then I will either post it earlier, or save it for next Tuesday so that I have something to show you.

Finally, after several months of work we finally have something substantial to show off online. We have the first episode of MFUL.

I would just like to thank Todd, Dave, Alex, and Kelsey for being incredibly easy to work with. The whole shoot was fun, so hopefully we will see more of these fun little webbisodes in September when Dave returns from Pickering.

For those of you interested in how we made this show, I am working on a featurette which I should have online in the next few days (weeks?). I am packing in with behind the scenes content and will hopefully show off something interesting. I do have to come clean on this one though... I am really only doing this featurette because I hate the "making of" things they put on DVD's and TV. You know the ones, where it doesn't show off any part of how they made the films, it basically is just something that promotes the film. MTV runs them a lot these days.

Finally, the music for this episode is stolen from a great indie band that I saw at Zaphods last Monday, called The Free Press, so please check out their site, and buy an album. Not because I stole their music to make this, but because their music is just that good.

The Intro

The hero of this podcast will ofcourse be its special effects. Now I have to say that this intro took me a few hours to do, and it looks good and sounds good, but the sound was recorded with a video camera. So lets face it, it could be better.

Now that you have seen the intro, let me warn you that we have a few weeks untill any of the videos hit the net. Still, you can enjoy this over and over and over again. Or you could find something better... like... any of the secret friends videos. They are hot, they are funny, and it is just fun to watch (and as an extra bonus it features 2 of our actors, so you can see where we are going with the movies)
